PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
The biggest-ever theatrical production in the history of Islamabad is set to rock the city again with its team claiming to enthral the audience with their outstanding performance and superb production quality.
Produced and directed by Shah Sharabeel, the play 'Phantom of the Opera' will be staged once again with far higher production cost in the spacious hall of the National Art Gallery (NAG) from October 25 to November 8. Previously it was staged in 2004 and still considered to be the best-ever play staged in the metropolis.
Gaston Leroux's classical tale of tragedy, grand opera, romance and horror has been masterfully adapted by Ken Hill into a musical play, which preserves all of the excitement and passion of the much-loved original underscored by a strong current of comedy as well.
